Veterans’ Home Care Services

About Veteran Care

With help from 3rd party VA Accredited Benefits Agents, we help our applicants get additional funding to pay for home care services, the VA Benefit is called “Aid and Attendance”.  We do not charge the Veteran or their family a penny to assist them. We are one of the only home care agencies in this area that is associated with an expedited process to provide this no fees service.

The VA benefit can provide up to $2,365 per month to Veterans and their spouses who need non-medical care/assistance to help them with activities of daily living in their home or chosen place of residence. There are currently over 10 million Veterans and their surviving spouses nationwide who are believed could qualify for this benefit and only 5% of them are currently taking advantage of it.

VA Aid & Attendance Benefit Loan Program

We offer a unique interest free loan to our clients who are Veterans (or surviving spouses of Veterans) and want to get access to the Veteran Administration (VA) Aid and Attendance benefit. This free benefit can provide 10‐20 hours of free care per week for the rest of your life!

The Problem

Most VA benefit applications take 6-12 months to get approved and involve an extensive application process and ongoing monitoring to maintain the benefit.  98% of the time a person needs to already have home care in place during the 6-12 month application process in order to get approved. The cost of this care can be too high for many Veterans – in addition to the fact that the Veterans do not know if their benefit application will even get approved and allow them to be paid back by the VA for their care costs during the application process. The risks are just too high for many Veterans and their surviving spouses so they usually do not end up applying for the VA benefit.

Our Solution

We work with Veterans and their surviving spouses to complete and file their benefit paperwork so we can help ensure they get approved and provide them a 6-12 month interest free loan to pay for the home care services during the 6-12 month application process. Once the veteran gets approval for their benefit, they are retroactively paid (by the VA) for all the care provided to them during their 6-12 month application process. The veteran then pays back the interest free loan.

Positive Results

The Veteran or surviving spouse gets to have 10-20 hours a week of FREE care starting as soon as the application is filed from a quality home healthcare provider without paying a penny now or ever the care is funded 100% by the VA! We then continue to keep the Veteran compliant with the requirements of the VA benefit and handle all VA audits for the rest of their life so they can keep getting 10-20 hours a week of FREE care.

“Delay, deny…wait till I die!” This is the phrase many veterans use to describe their local VA Regional Offices – which often take up to 10 years to approve/deny benefits. According to a 2018 CBS News Investigation of the VA found 900,000 claims pending up to 10 years. Tens of thousands of claims were “hidden away in cabinets” to reduce VA Regional Office employee work loads

We know what documentation they require. We will file the paperwork free of charge and make sure you receive the maximum possible benefit. We will follow up with the VA on your behalf throughout the claim approval process. With US Veteran Care, you begin receiving care within 2 to 6 weeks promptly after the application is filed, which we will pay for on your behalf thanks to an interest-free loan. This loan is a unique service of our US Veteran Care Program; you simply reimburse us for those initial months’ expenses from your retroactive VA payment, once your claim is approved.

Also, after you begin receiving your pension, we continue working for you and make sure you stay compliant – monitoring and submitting ongoing paperwork the VA requires, so you continue to receive the maximum benefit.
